| Bournemouth Vegetarians & Vegans started up before the Second World War, and was
restarted in 1945 by Geoffrey Rudd who later became Secretary of the Vegetarian Society in Manchester.
We are a non-profit making, volunteer-run group covering Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
Our aim is to make life easier for local veggies and vegans by offering advice, information and the
chance to meet socially with like-minded people. We are affiliated with the
Vegetarian Society and have regular meetings at Wessex Tales, a local (100%!) Vegetarian Restaurant.
